How long a ZotaBet withdrawal really takes

The payments page says “Instant”. The terms add a daily cap, a weekly cap, a monthly cap and a 3× turnover. Here is how they interact.

In one paragraph

ZotaBet's own payments table lists Interac withdrawals as free and instant, minimum $30, maximum $1,500; bank transfer as free, 3–5 days, minimum $300, maximum $1,500; crypto as instant. Its terms then impose ceilings the payments page never shows: 1,000 €/$ per day, 2,500 per week and 15,000 per month. Before any of that, every deposit must be wagered 3×, and identity checks can hold a payout for as long as they take — up to 30 days for documents, with a video call permitted. So "instant" is accurate for the transfer itself and misleading about the journey: a C$4,000 win is a four-day payout at best, and the €10,000 bonus-win ceiling caps the whole exercise.

What the operator publishes

Two documents matter, and they do not agree with each other in an obvious way. The payments page is the shop window; the terms and conditions are the contract.

What the terms add on top
Minimum withdrawal€20 or equivalent. Amounts above a processor's limit are paid in instalments.
Maximum withdrawal1,000 €/$ per day · 2,500 per week · 15,000 per month. Exceptions for higher VIP levels are "at the company's sole discretion".
Deposit turnoverEvery deposit must be wagered 3× before connected funds can be withdrawn; several unplayed deposits must be wagered in total, or a processing fee may be charged.
Bank transfers"In principle processed within three (3) banking days". Intermediary-bank charges are outside the operator's control, "in our experience limited to the equivalent of EUR 16". No bank transfer for USD payouts.
Card depositsWithdrawals up to the amount you deposited are returned to the card as refunds; only the excess is paid another way.
CurrencyThe internal operating currency is the euro, so a CAD balance is converted and the amount debited or credited by your bank may differ slightly.
Identity checksCan be required at any time and hold a payout for the duration. Documents must be in Latin or Cyrillic script; video verification may be demanded.
Bonus winningsCapped at €10,000 across all bonus types unless stated otherwise.
DormancyAfter 12 months without a login, €10 per month is deducted while the balance is positive.

A realistic timeline for a Canadian payout

A combination padlock dial on a black surface

Suppose you deposited C$200 by Interac, played slots, and your balance is now C$4,000. Here is the sequence the documents describe.

Day by day

  1. Turnover check. Your C$200 deposit needed C$600 of settled play. Slots at 100% clear it quickly; live tables would not have counted toward a bonus, and the sportsbook counts only settled bets.
  2. Verification. If it has not happened yet, it happens now: government photo ID, proof of address, proof of the payment method — in Latin or Cyrillic script, or a video call instead. The terms allow up to 30 days; player reports on Trustpilot describe repeated requests. This is the step that decides your total wait.
  3. Request one: C$1,000. The daily ceiling is 1,000 €/$, and Interac's per-transaction cap is $1,500, so the day's cap binds first. If processing really is instant, this lands the same day.
  4. Requests two and three. Days two and three, C$1,000 each — until the weekly ceiling of 2,500 stops you partway through the third.
  5. The remainder waits for the next week's allowance. C$4,000 therefore takes two calendar weeks in the worst case and about four days in the best — and neither number is what "Instant" suggests.

Now add a bonus to the same story. If those winnings came from bonus funds, the €10,000 maximum applies before anything else, so a very good run is truncated at the top and then metered out at 1,000 a day. This is the single most important thing to understand about offshore bonus play: the ceiling and the drip are set in the terms long before you win.

Who says what about the speed

Payout speed is the claim third-party pages differ on most, which is itself informative.

Trustpilot reviewersBoth "money came through next morning" and repeated reports of cancelled withdrawals and further document requests.

The spread — one hour to ten days — is not evidence that someone is lying. It is what happens when the transfer itself is fast, the approval before it is discretionary, and the ceilings above it are fixed. The only numbers in that table that are contractual are the operator's own.

Six things that actually shorten the wait

  • 1 Verify before you win. Upload ID, address and payment proof on day one. Verification during a payout is where the days go.
  • 2 Use one payment method in your own name. Third-party payments are prohibited outright and the terms allow confiscation.
  • 3 Turn the deposit over 3× deliberately, in games that count, before you request anything.
  • 4 Request the daily cap, not the balance. A request above the ceiling is processed in instalments anyway — asking in the right size avoids an outright cancellation.
  • 5 Answer the phone. A call can form part of KYC, and if the operator cannot reach you within two weeks the terms let it retain the funds.
  • 6 Do not re-open a pending withdrawal to play. Reversing a cash-out is the oldest way to lose one, and nothing in these terms protects you from yourself.

What a regulated Canadian payout looks like instead

For comparison: an AGCO-registered Ontario operator, or a provincial site like PlayNow, Espacejeux, Play Alberta or OLG, settles Interac payouts within the same banking rails but under provincial rules, with published dispute resolution and no discretionary "sole discretion" ceiling on how much of your own balance you may take per day. That is the practical difference the licence makes — not whether the money arrives, but who you can appeal to and how quickly if it does not.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a ZotaBet withdrawal take?

The operator lists Interac and crypto as instant and bank transfers as 3–5 days, and its FAQ says funds usually arrive within an hour after processing. In practice the wait is set by verification, which the terms allow to run up to 30 days for documents, and by the daily, weekly and monthly ceilings on how much can be paid out at all.

What are ZotaBet's withdrawal limits?

Interac and bank transfer are capped at $1,500 per transaction on the payments page, and the terms set 1,000 EUR/USD per day, 2,500 per week and 15,000 per month, with exceptions for higher VIP levels at the company's discretion. The minimum withdrawal is €20 or equivalent.

Why is my withdrawal pending?

The most common reasons in ZotaBet's own terms are the 3x deposit turnover not being met, an identity check in progress, a request above the daily or weekly ceiling being split into instalments, or a phone call for KYC that has not been answered.

Does ZotaBet charge withdrawal fees?

Its payments page lists every withdrawal method as free. The terms note that intermediary banks can add charges on wire transfers, limited in the operator's experience to about EUR 16, and that a fee may be charged if you try to withdraw a deposit you never wagered three times.

Can I be paid in Canadian dollars?

Yes, CAD is a supported account currency and Interac pays in dollars. But the internal operating currency is the euro, so the balance is a conversion and the amount your bank credits can differ slightly from the figure on screen.
